As part of a visit, the management got acquainted with the works of the mine, inspected the production and construction sites of the deposit and held a meeting where the problems of the company were discussed, in particular, the issues of repairing the road to the deposit, the construction of a gas turbine plant, reconstruction of electric equipment and ensuring the communication system.
Currently, the projects are being developed for the infrastructure networks of the deposit. The necessary parts were purchased, the mining equipment was partially restored, the pump stations were reconstructed and pumping installations were purchased, the works for housing are under repair.
JSC «Tau-Ken Samruk» plans to build the production of polymetallic ores at «Shalkiya», increasing the productivity and construction of mining and processing plant. After launching the plant, the production capacity of 4 million lead and zinc ore will be planned. More than 1,000 jobs will be provided.
