On August 19, in Astana, Nurlan Zhakupov, the Chairman of the Management Board of Samruk-Kazyna JSC, has launched the VIII Spartakiad among employees of enterprises of the group of companies, dedicated to the 15th anniversary of the Fund. Large-scale competitions among employees of sixteen companies will be held in 11 sports. “I welcome the participants of the 8th Spartakiad among the employees of Samruk-Kazyna companies! This year’s corporate competitions are dedicated to the 15thanniversary of the Fund. The largest employer in Kazakhstan with more than 250,000 employees, always supports sports and a healthy lifestyle. I am glad to see colleagues who are passionate about sports today. Thank you to your families for their support, we have prepared a separate program for them. I wish you all perfect moments and high achievements during the sports festival! Let me declare the super final of the Spartakiad open!”, – Nurlan Zhakupov, the Chairman of the Management Board of the Fund, said at the opening ceremony, who himself is actively engaged in several sports, including swimming.
845 representatives of teams from Kazpost JSC, NC KTZh JSC, Air Astana JSC, KEGOC JSC, Kazakhtelecom JSC, Qazaq Air JSC, NC Kazatomprom JSC, NC QAZAQGAZ JSC, NC KazMunayGas JSC, Samruk-Kazyna Trust CF, Samruk-Kazyna Ondeu LLP, Samruk-Kazyna Construction JSC, Samruk-Kazyna Business Service LLP, NMC Tau-Ken Samruk JSC, Samruk-Energy JSC and the combined team “Samruk United” will take part in the competition. Individual participants will compete in individual sports – table tennis, chess, togyzkumalak, arm wrestling and swimming. The combined teams will defend the honor of their enterprises in team sports – mini-football, volleyball, basketball, tug of war, asykatu and cyber-sports.
The main goal of the Spartakiad is to strengthen the corporate culture and ties within the team, to encourage all participants to unite around a common goal and the desire to win within the slogan “One Team – One Goal!”. Companies that have proven themselves as reliable partners in such industries as the oil and gas industry, metallurgy, energy, transport and others will enter into a fair fight for the title of leaders in sports.
