Bakyt Chirchikbayev, the Chief Executive Officer of JSC NMC Tau-Ken Samruk, spoke in detail about the company’s areas of work and plans for the future. The company intends to continue active work with domestic and foreign investors, focusing on exploration projects and development of the rare and rare earth elements sector.
Bakyt Chirchikbayev also voiced problems, the solution of which at the legislative level will help Kazakhstan significantly strengthen the investment attractiveness of geological exploration and the mining and metallurgical complex as a whole.
In particular, this is a whole block of taxation issues, de-bureaucratization and simplification of procedures related to obtaining licenses and contracts for subsurface use. In addition, the openness and accessibility of geological information has not yet been fully ensured.
In turn, the senators noted that they are ready to continue the dialogue and will take into account these problems and proposals in further legislative activities.
