​Tau-Ken Samruk Management met with the representatives of British and Swedish companies

On April 20, 2016, Management of Tau-Ken Samruk JSC met with the delegation from Great Britain led by the representative of the State Department of the UK Ministry of Commerce and Investments Rosalind Claire Lund.

During the meeting the parties discussed the issue on bilateral cooperation between Tau-Ken Samruk JSC (TKS) and British companies. TKS presented its investment projects to the foreign contractors. High interest of the British manufacturers was attracted by Shalkiya Commercial Polymetallic Ores Development in Kyzylorda Region. The parties held discussion on the opportunities for joint key activities within the project.

Rosalind Claire Lund spoke about the forthcoming business forum that will take place in London, summer 2016. Along with the inviting TKS Management to this huge event, she expressed a willingness to brief our representatives on the new technologies provided by the British companies at the plants of Great Britain. For its part, TKS Management expressed its readiness to consider opportunities for partnership with the British companies.

On April 21, 2016 Tau-Ken Samruk’s CEO Mazhit Turmagambetov met with Swedish delegation led by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary in the Republic of Kazakhstan Christian Camill. The delegation included heads and representatives of the major mining Swedish companies, among them: ABB, Alfa Laval, Erost Group LLC, Jensen Ventilation, Scania, SWEDFAN, Xylem.

During the meeting, the delegation members showed awareness of Tau-Ken Samruk JSC (TKS) projects. Following the presentation of their companies, the foreign officials expressed their interest in implementing a number of projects as well as manufacture modernization and introduction of new technologies into TKS production companies. Therewith, Swedish business representatives invited TKS Management and representatives to Sweden to see business operation, new technologies and equipment used in manufacturing processes. CEO Mazhit Turmagambetov thanked Mr. Ch. Camill and all the delegates for their business visit and expressed readiness to develop bilateral partnership with the Swedish entrepreneurs for the mutual benefit.
