Issues of construction of a processing plant based on the lead-zinc Deposit of Shalkiya were discussed at the meeting of the Chairman of the Board of “Tau-Ken Samruk” with the Governor of the region Gulshara Abdykalikova. The MPP construction project is included in the national industrialization map; its implementation has a great economic and social significance for the region’s economy and the country as a whole.
After commissioning, company will provide employment for about 2,500 people, now it employs 625 people.
Kanat Kudaibergen, the Chairman of the Board of JSC “Tau-Ken Samruk” informed during his meeting that currently work is underway to adjust the project of the mountain part and the surface complex.
