Today the final program of AMM 2019 Congress, which will take place on June 12-13, 2019 in Hilton Astana, Nursultan city, was defined. Sixty experts from 12 world countries, representing government, business, and science, will meet on the platform. Over 500 delegates are expected from major companies, such as Kazatomprom, Kaztrans, Kumtor Gold Company, Kusto Group, McKinsey&Company, Nazarbayev University, NFC Kazakhstan, Schneider Electric, Siemens LLP, Yer-Tai LLP.

On June 12, at 10:00, a plenary meeting on Strategies of Global Mining Industry Development will start its work. During this meeting, local and international MMC leaders will tell about development strategies in their companies in terms of industry digitalization. Industry 4.0 Round table, where experts will share their experience with Industry 4.0 technology in different areas of production, about effects and support measures.
On June 13, at 9:00, within the frame of the second day of AMM 2019 Congress, there will be a Coal Industry Forum – New opportunities of the coal industry in terms of technological modernization, and round table on Modernization and ecology. The organizer is the Republican Association of Mining and Metallurgical Enterprises.
The forum will discuss issues on Kazakhstan coal export expansion, international experience on coal industry modernization, diversification of coal business, coal gasification, prospects of mines digitalization, and so on. During the work of the round table on “Modernization and environment,” its participants will discuss issues on implementation of modern technologies for coal extraction and refining, an increase of coal quality, development of coal chemistry, reduction of coal industry impact on the environment.
Concurrently with the investment session, June 13 will see presentations of the mining companies. Local and foreign companies, such as ERG and Kazzink LLP, will make presentations and tell about procurement procedures in their companies.
Top managers of South River Asset Management, KazakhInvest, Astana International Exchange will meet on June 13, at 10:00, during the session “Fighting for investments – which is to win?”, where they will discuss issues on the reduction of risks and current market problems. Also, during the session, development programs and global experience of companies will be addressed.
Them, at noon, specially invited guests, major investment companies in Europe and Asia, will meet each other at the Presentation of Investment Projects for the gold-containing and copper-containing deposits, where they will consider domestic projects and give their assessments for their future investment.
At the same time, on the parallel platform, there will be a round table on rare metals. The partner of the discussion is the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of RK.
On June 13, at 14:30, organizers of AMM 2019 together with Nazarbayev University will hold a seminar “Education in era of Mining 4.0”, where they will discuss needs in education to provide industry with Mining 4.0, mining robotechnics and automation, big data, and solution of modern technological tasks in MMC.
Besides, at 14:00, on June 13, there will be a master class for GR specialists within the frame of the Congress program. Marat Bashirov, President of the Non-Commercial Partnership “National league of specialists on business and government relationships”, Chairman of the Committee on Interaction with State bodies of the Association of Managers of Russia, will hold a training on basic models of interaction between business and government, anti-corruption policy and compliance, discuss different cases with the audience, and many others.
On another platform, AMME will also organize a round table on taxation in the mining and metallurgical sector. The central issue in the agenda will be the transfer of the mining enterprises to royalty.
AMM 2019 Congress will be finished by the round table from GEN TRIZ LLC “Potential TRIZ for MMC enterprises in the era of the digital economy”, which will start its work at 16:30. Experts will discuss the current situation with the preparation of TRIZ specialists in the system of education in RK, the use of innovative methods to elicit new market niches for MMC products, and other issues.
