During the visit the delegates visited the mine «Century Mine» of «MMG Century» in Queensland, where they got acquainted with the technological scheme of flotation and production process of zinc products.

Reference. «Century Mine» is the largest zinc mine in Australia developed by open-pit mining method. The mine produces about 4% of the world zinc. For 16 years, mining and processing of zinc and lead concentrates have been carried out in the mine. Transportation of goods is executed on a length of 304 km slurry pipeline to the port in Karumba to further delivery to smelters in Australia, Europe and Asia.
