FUTURE MINERALS FORUM 2025: THE FUTURE OF THE MINING INDUSTRY

The National Mining Company Tau-Ken Samruk, as part of the Kazakh delegation chaired by the Head of the National Geological Survey, participates in the work of the Future Minerals Forum 2025. This is the fourth time it has been held in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. The large—scale forum brought together more than 2.5 thousand participants – industry leaders, politicians and experts.

The main topics of the forum are sustainable development, new approaches to environmental responsibility and the introduction of innovative technologies. Special attention is paid to the issues of green transformation, the use of alternative energy sources, as well as digitalization and automation of production processes. One of the central issues is the creation of transparent and responsible supply chains, as well as efforts to reduce the carbon footprint, and increasing the role of women in the mining industry is a separate point of discussion.

Within the framework of the forum, representatives of Tau-Ken Samruk and Kazgeology participated in meetings with colleagues, visited the corn storage, chemical laboratory and Department for the study of seismology of the Geological Survey of Saudi Arabia, discussed possible cooperation and exchange of experience, in particular, regarding the formation of a unified database of geological information.
