The representatives of JSC NMC Tau-Ken Samruk and delegation of the largest conglomerate from India – Adani Group (NSE: ADANIENT) held negotiations on cooperation opportunities in Nur-Sultan.
During the meeting, the Head of the delegation – Sudipta Bhattacharya, the Chief Technical Director and Executive Director of a number of subsidiaries of Adani Group, noted the interest in investing in Kazakhstani projects. In particular, in the field of MMC, the representatives of Adani Group identified priority metals and minerals – copper, lead, zinc, cobalt, lithium and coal.
In turn, Acting Chief Executive Officer of Tau-Ken Samruk, Nurlan Itemgenov, spoke about the Company’s portfolio of investment projects, including lead-zinc assets planned for transfer to the competitive environment and expressed his intend to see Adani Group among potential investors.
