Tau-Ken Samruk and the Center for International Programs (CIP) to Cooperate in the Staff Training and Employment for the Mining Industry

The National Mining Company “Tau-Ken Samruk” and CIP have agreed to provide mutual organizational, consulting and information-analytical support in terms of training, retraining, internships, advanced training, as well as employment of graduates of the Bolashak international scholarship.

The Head of Tau-Ken Samruk Bakyt Chirchikbayev and the Chairman of the Management Board of the Center Olzhas Sakenov signed the Memorandum of Cooperation today in Astana for International Programs. The document will regulate joint activities aimed at meeting the personnel demand of the mining company.  

The list of priority specialties for Tau-Ken Samruk, the need for which is the highest, includes geologists, metallurgists (technologists), mining surveyors, geodesists, concentrators, chemical engineers, builders, mine engineers and information security specialists. During the work of the Center for International Programs in these areas, 564 people have completed training in the world’s best universities.

For information: The Bolashak International Scholarship was established on November 5, 1993. The purpose of the program is to train specialists for priority sectors of the country’s economy. The program includes both academic studies (master’s degree, doctoral studies) and research and production internships in leading companies and universities around the world.
