On April 10, 2015 a briefing with the management of JSC «Tau-Ken Samruk» and the delegation of Kyzylorda region with deputy akim Galymzhan Amreyev was held at the Central Communications Service under the President of RK. At the briefing the promising projects located in the territory of Kyzylorda region were announced, including the project of JSC “Tau-Ken Samruk” – «Shalkiya» deposit. In an interview, Elnar Kenzhaliyev, the Managing Director for Prospective Development of JSC «Tau-Ken Samruk» highlighted the journalists with the information about the project. However, on April 14, 2015 the financial magazine «LS» reported the incorrect information that “the ore produced at the deposit will be processed at Kentau prosessing plant“. The Press Service of JSC «Tau-Ken Samruk» formally denies the information and reports that the ore produced at this deposit will be processed at the new processing plant that will be built near the «Shalkiya» deposit.
After the negotiations with the editors of the «LS» magazine, the information was corrected.
