Institute of Geological Sciences named after K. I. Satpaev held an International Research and Training Conference under the title: Innovations and Perspective Technologies of Geological Exploration in Kazakhstan.
The conference was dedicated to the memory of Kazakhstan Geological Service founder, the famous scientist and expert in process engineering Ginayat Rahmatullich Bekzhanov.
The conference was organized by RK Ministry of Investment and Development, Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Education and Sciences, Mineral Resources Academy, Kazakhstan Geological Society, KazGEO and the Institute of Geological Sciences named after academician K. I. Satpayev.
Tau-Ken Project JV LLP, Tau-Ken Mining LLP (exploration of copper, lead, barite in Tuyuk-Temirlik ore cluster in Almaty region) – Subsidiaries of Tau-Ken Samruk NGK JSC participated in the conference.
Note:Tau-Ken Project JV LLP is engaged in exploration and prospecting works in Spasskaya Copper Ore Zone in Karaganda region.

Chief Geologist of Tau-Ken Project Dauren Akzholtayevich Nesipbaev made a report on Application of Geochemical Exploration Innovative Methods at Spasskaya Copper Ore Zone co-authored by Mining and Economic Consulting LLP representatives M.S.Degenbaeva, V.L.Los, O. G.Shegai and Chief Geologist of Tau-Ken Samruk A. B. Izhanov. In his speech, Dauren Akzholtayevich reported about the results achieved due to new exploration technique used throughout the territory of Spasskaya Copper Ore Zone.
Director of Tau-Ken Mining LLP Azamat Maksutovich Salimov made a poster presentation on New Perspective Stratiform Copper-Polymetallic Mineralization in Carbonate Strata of South of Kazakhstan developed in collaboration with Y. N.Gilev, Y.P. Mamonov (Geolog-A LLP) and Tau-Ken Samruk Chief Geologist A. B.Izhanov
Conference participants highlighted the importance of such events with discussions and new information about relevant industrial innovative and effective methods and technologies.
