Investment in the development

National Mining Company Tau-Ken Samruk is attracting major investor to implement project on the production of metallurgic silicon in Karaganda region within new Development Strategy. The negotiations of Kanat Kudaibergen, Chief Executive of Tau-Ken Samruk JSC, with the management of Yilmaden Holding A.S. transnational company have been held on Nasdaq Dubai Market Site platform; a Term Sheet was signed at the same place. Participation in the project of the foreign investor will allow Kazakhstan company increasing capacity of the plant on the production of metallurgical silicon (Tau-Ken Temir LLP) and creating new jobs. Approximately, the contract with Yilmaden Holding A.S.will be concluded in H2 2019.
Yilmaden Holding A.S. is the major Turkish holding operating in 50 countries on four continents in mining, chemical, power, and transport sectors. Yilmaden Holding A.S. operates in Kazakhstan since 2013; the company participates in the production of chromic concentrate in Aktobe region. According to the management of Yilmaden Holding A.S., the Holding intends to invest more than US$1 billion in Kazakhstan.
