JSC «ТАU-КЕN SAMRUK» AND «KGHM POLSKA MIEDŹ» SIGNED MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING

In Astana a meeting was held between management and representatives of JSC «Tau-Ken Samruk» and the Polish company «KGHM Polska MIEDŹ» (hereinafter – KGHM). During the business negotiations the parties discussed the possibility of cooperation on projects of JSC «Tau-Ken Samruk». Memorandum of Understanding was signed as a result of the meeting between the heads of the companies.

Reference. KGHM is one of the largest producers of copper and silver in the world. One of the main tasks set by KGHM is to become the world’s top copper producer by increasing copper production. In 1991, the company was established as a state enterprise, and since 1997 its shares are traded on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. The company has a strategic interest for the Polish economy.
