Domestic and foreign experts talked in the online format about the changes taking place in the industry, discussed problems and proposed solutions. Nariman Absametov, the Chief Business Development Officer, presented JSC NMC Tau-Ken Samruk at the forum. At the plenary session, he spoke about the projects that the national company is implementing together with foreign investors, including within the framework of the “junior” program. Since 2020, Tau-Ken Samruk has been collaborating with Discovery Ventures and SH Minerals. Within the framework of operator agreements, geological exploration is carried out in the Karaganda, East Kazakhstan and Turkestan regions. A major exploration project is implemented by Tau-Ken Samruk in cooperation with the leader of the global mining industry – Fortescue Metals Group. Thus, the national company makes a real contribution to the development of the domestic geological exploration industry, increasing the degree of exploration of the subsoil and strengthening the country’s resource base.
