Members of the Board of Directors of the National Mining Company Tau-Ken Samruk got acquainted with the progress related to the construction of the Shalkiya lead-zinc mining processing complex. In addition to the hearing of the report of the management of ShalkiyaZinc, members of the Board of Directors have studied industrial details and descended into the mine. Regular meeting of the Board of Directors of JSC NMC Tau-Ken Samruk was held directly at the place of future mining and processing complex – in Shalkiya village. ShalkiyaZinc JSC (Subsidiary of Tau-Ken Samruk) possesses right for exploration and production of polymetallic ores at Shalkiya field. Confirmed reserves of the lead and zinc enable extraction and processing of the ore until 2051.
