Joint Stock Company «National Geological Exploration Company «Kazgeology» was established on June 21, 2011, No. 684.
The goal of establishing is to ensure optimal development of the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, to create favorable conditions for the life of the population and new mineral resource bases for the future generations fund, as well as to ensure the realization of Kazakhstan’s economic and geopolitical interests in the Kazakhstani sector of the Caspian shelf.
On September 18, 2023, ownership of the shares of Kazgeology JSC was transferred to Joint-Stock Company SWF Samruk-Kazyna. On October 05, 2023, 100% of the shares of Kazgeology JSC have been transferred to the authorized capital of Joint-Stock Company NMC Tau-Ken Samruk.
