Corporate event began with the presentation of a video about the main achievements and successful projects of JSC “Tau-Ken Samruk” in recent years. The video presented the major projects: Refinery “Tau-Ken Altyn”, Silicon Plant “Tau-Ken Temir” and “Shalkiya Zinc Ltd”. Goals and objectives set by the management during the implementation of these projects are embodied and become a reality only through the professionalism and team spirit of the staff. This has been noted in the speech of Mazhit Turmagambetov, CEO of the Management Board of JSC “Tau-Ken Samruk”. He congratulated all the employees of the mining industry on their professional holiday and announced the main part of the event – opening the intellectual competition.
The intellectual game «Brain ring» was held within the framework of the event. The players were divided into 6 teams of 10 participants in each team. The game was held in the format of television intellectual game “What? Where? When?”. During the game, participants were asked challenging and at the same time the original logical questions on general subjects, as well as sectoral issues. The main objectives of the game are self-determining the team leader, as well as rapid and effective problem solving in a team. The willingness of each player in the team work and the ability to build effective relationships with each participant played the great importance during the team building activity. After extensive brainstorming, the team №2 win the competition with the highest score results.
After awarding the prizes to the winners and the most active participants of the competition, distinguished employees of the Company were awarded.
Also, as part of a corporate event a master-class was held on golf, where the staff of the Company had an opportunity to learn the basic rules of the game and put them into practice. Playing the effective games allowed the Company’s employees to get acquainted with colleagues and communicate in an informal conditions.
