Mining Congress Qazaqstan

On May 23-24, Astana hosted the international Mining Congress Qazaqstan. The capital of Kazakhstan gathered more than 200 industry leaders, representatives of government agencies, science and the non-profit sector to exchange experience, discuss problematic issues, share innovative energy-efficient solutions and in general, identify the main vectors of further development of the mining industry.

The national mining company “Tau-Ken Samruk” presented to the participants of a large-scale event the prospects of a possible partnership on exploration and production projects.

Daulet Aliaskarov, the Marketing Manager, in his report spoke about the Company’s current projects and stressed that Tau-Ken Samruk offers partners and investors several mechanisms of interaction.

The key message of the discussions of the first day of the Congress was the opinion that it is necessary to unite the efforts of large market players in rapidly changing conditions for the sustainable development of the industry.

The Agenda of the second day of the Forum included the issues of ESG, export potential of the industry and the problems of subsurface exploration.
