Today Mr. Nariman Absametov, the Chief Executive Officer of JSC NMC Tau-Ken Samruk, and Ms. Francoise Joly, the Minister, Special Representative of the President of the Republic of the Congo for Strategic Affairs and International Negotiationshave discussed the potential for cooperation in the mining industry.
Experts highly appreciate the potential of the mineral resource base of the Republic of the Congo, while there is a lack of geological knowledge of the territories. Kazakhstan, which has a strong geological school and competencies in the field of subsoil use, can offer the necessary expertise to the Congolese partners.
The conversation participants confirmed their mutual interest in cooperation and agreed to work out in more detail the possibilities of practical implementation of exploration projects.
