Tau-Ken Altyn is a strategically significant enterprise for the domestic precious metals processing industry.
Deputies of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan got acquainted with the full production cycle – from obtaining raw materials to receiving refined gold bars of international standard.
The parliamentary delegation consisted of Yedil Zhanbyrshin, the Chairman of the Committee on Ecology and Natural Resources, Baurzhan Smagulov, Azhar Sagandykova, Arman Kalykov, Yerbolat Satybaldin, Vera Kim, Ayan Zeinullin, the Committee members, as well as Mukash Iskandirov, the member of the Committee on Economic Reform and Regional Development.
Nariman Absametov, the Chief Executive Officer of JSC NMC Tau-Ken Samruk, and Arnur Aidarkhanov, the Director of Tau-Ken Altyn LLP, submitted results of the plant and the group of companies as a whole.
The meeting participants discussed key issues of sustainable environmental management, taxation, and the importance of creating conditions for the dynamic development of the domestic mining industry and metallurgy. They also touched on the issues of interaction with public authorities.
The Tau-Ken Altyn plant has no analogues in Kazakhstan and meets the highest standards of quality, environmental and occupational safety. As the main supplier of gold to the National Bank, the enterprise makes a significant contribution to the sustainable development of the national economy.
