JSC “National Mining Company “Tau-Ken Samruk” demonstrates a system-wide approach to the domestic market development, expanding opportunities for domestic commodity producers (DCPs) to participate in procurement and maintaining conditions as transparent and profitable as possible.

The round table with DCP representatives has been held at the Tau-Ken Samruk refinery focusing on issues related to business participation in the procurement of the Samruk-Kazyna group of companies. The entrepreneurs obtained information about the specifics of the procurement procedure, support measures and were told about new opportunities for domestic companies.
In particular, special conditions for DCPs include:
– a compulsory advance payment of at least 30%,
– payment within 5 business days,
– exemption from all types of collateral,
– long-term offtake contracts for up to 20 years,
– priority in procurement and a contingent 5% discount.
In addition, since 2024, a rule has been introduced obliging contractors to purchase goods from domestic producers when performing works and rendering services on orders of the Fund organizations.
SKSTORE.KZ, the digital platform, plays a key role in increasing procurement transparency. It provides domestic companies with direct access to orders of the Fund organizations and simplifies the participation process.
The platform provides producers with a number of advantages: online document signing, priority consideration of applications, tariff preferences, as well as access to procurement analytics.
At the end of the first M9 2025, the volume of procurement for the Tau-Ken Samruk group of companies amounted to KZT1.38 trillion, of which more than KZT775 billion was accounted for domestic producers. At the same time, 203 of the 205 company suppliers are local ones. The share of domestic value in procurement remains high and amounts to 69%.
This year, the Tau-Ken Altyn refinery alone purchased goods worth KZT478.33 billion, of which KZT372.58 billion was arranged by Kazakhstani producers.
