Tau-Ken Samruk to Expand the Geography of International Cooperation

JSC NMC Tau-Ken Samruk and Ngali Holdings Ltd concluded the Term Sheet providing for the joint development of rare and rare earth metals deposit in Rwanda. The document was signed by Nariman Absametov, Chairman of the Management Board of Tau-Ken Samruk, and Joseph Butera, Head of Ngali Holdings Ltd.

The document was signed within the framework of the working visit of the delegation of the Samruk-Kazyna Fund to the Republic of Rwanda, headed by Nurlan Zhakupov, Chairman of the Management Board.
Paul Kagame, President of Rwanda, received representatives of Samruk-Kazyna JSC in Kigali, the capital of the country.

Negotiations with representatives of Rwandan development institutions and investment companies were also held during the visit. In particular, with Jean-Guy Afrika, CEO of Rwanda Development Board, Alice Uvase, CEO of Rwanda Mines, Petroleum and Gas Board, and Joseph Butera, Head of Ngali Holdings Ltd.

During the talks, the parties discussed the prospects for cooperation in the mining industry and development of joint projects in the field of exploration.
